The client half of denpatou#59. Decisions: ADR-0014/0016, denpatou#44 (the grip does double duty, judged on the prototype) and denpatou#45 (PENDING is the dot).

What to build

The pal grows the sitting gesture and the waiting mark, and nothing else.

  • The grip does double duty. One target on the pal bar, meaning by state: click with no sitting open opens one (default name — naming is not part of the gesture); click inside a sitting declares a seam (継ぎ目); double-click closes. A real single/double-click guard — the prototype's click counter is the decision, not the implementation — and the single-click seam must feel instant; if the standard dblclick window reads as lag on the real pal, shrink it.
  • Affordance at 0.7×: the target's three states must be tellable at pal scale without becoming a thing to read. The prototype's dashed-border treatment was enough to react to, not necessarily the shipping look.
  • PENDING is the dot: a static 4px mark beside the carrier meter, drawn only while the go-between says something is held, gone when the hold empties. No animation, no colour escalation, no count (ADR-0016 — the count belongs to the break-in at delivery).
  • Frames come from the go-between half; nothing here invents a frame name.

Acceptance criteria

  • Click opens a sitting; click again declares a seam; double-click closes — verified against a running go-between, a held turn audibly releasing on the seam.
  • A single click never fires open-then-seam by accident, and a double-click never emits a stray seam first.
  • The dot appears only on the go-between's held signal and carries no number; the invocation line's pending count no longer renders while holding (ADR-0016's contradiction with the current line resolved in the dot's favour).
  • Parked at 0.7× in a corner, the three grip states are distinguishable without focus.
  • Reviews run the code; test tail pasted, not paraphrased.
